Jonathan Goldstein (actor)

Jonathan Lewis Goldstein〔(People Search: GOLDSTEIN, JONATHAN born 12/04/1964 )〕 (born December 4, 1964) is an American actor best known for his role as Walter Nichols in the Nickelodeon sitcom ''Drake & Josh''.
==Life and career==
Goldstein was born and raised in Manhattan, New York and honed his acting skills at New York University and Northwestern University before landing a role on the soap opera ''All My Children'' and later heading for Hollywood.
Goldstein waited tables for ten years to help pay the bills between acting gigs. In a bizarre twist of fate, one of Goldstein’s regular customers turned out to be ''Drake & Josh'' producer Dan Schneider, who did not recognize his favorite waiter on the audition tape. "After he picked me his wife Lisa looked at the tape and said, ‘Hey, isn’t that our waiter Jonathan?’", Goldstein explained.
Some of his other television credits include ''The Riches'', ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'', ''NCIS'', ''Heroes'', ''Grey's Anatomy'', ''Once and Again'' and ''The Electric Company''. He also directed three episodes of the Nickelodeon sitcom ''iCarly'' starring his former ''Drake & Josh'' co-star Miranda Cosgrove.
Goldstein was also the lead singer in several New York bands including: The Shakers, The Cosmic Testes and The Garage Ensemble.
Goldstein was also a founding member of Los Angeles' Sacred Fools Theater Company, and served as one of its Artistic Directors during the theater's inaugural season.〔 Sacred Fools Theater Company〕〔 Sacred Fools Theater Company〕
In recent years, Goldstein has taken to traveling to Bowling Green, Kentucky during the summer to direct amateur youth theatre. So far, he has directed local productions of both Romeo and Juliet and Pride and Prejudice.
